Cellist. Chamber Musician. Artistic Director.

Welcome

Hello!

My name is Solina (she/her). I’m Korean-Canadian, and the youngest child to loving immigrant parents. I was born in Edmonton, but spent my childhood in a small Albertan town called Fox Creek. My family eventually found their way to Calgary, where I spent the rest of my formative years there.

I love classical music and cello. I’m the Artistic Director and Founding Member/President of Wild Rose Chamber Music, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing diverse chamber music to the Prairies. I hope bring a fresh take on classical music with Wild Rose Chamber Music.

I also find myself at HTM Law working as an Wills & Estates Paralegal. A place I stumbled upon during my musical hiatus, but can’t seem to leave!

The three things that currently make me genuinely happy are: visiting cafés, spending time with my family, and crocheting.

The last thing I’d love to share about me is that I am ambitious and a dreamer. Some might call me an idealist, but my passions are what drive me to be a better person.

Warmly,

Solina
